Ganadores de los Nebula Awards 2019

El pasado sábado, en una ceremonia virtual, se celebró la entrega de los Nebula Awards a lo mejor de 2019. El premio celebra lo mejor de la ciencia ficción y fantasía, y es entregado por la Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America (SFWA).

Las categorías de prosa se dividen según la extensión de la obra. Cuento con 7,500 palabras o menos, noveleta de 7,500 a 17,500, novela corta de 17,500 a 40,000, y novela de 40,000 palabras o más. La categoría de juegos, establecida en 2018, incluye videojuegos y juegos de mesa. Los premios Ray Bradbury y Andre Norton se entregan en la misma ceremonia, pero hasta el año pasado eran considerados independientes al Nebula, y este año por primera vez son reconocidos como parte de los mismos.

En cuanto a los premios discrecionales, Lois McMaster Bujold recibió el Damon Knight Memorial Grand Master Award, Julia Ríos el Kevin O’Donnell Jr. por Servicios a la SFWA, y John Picacio y David Gaughran el Kate Wilhelm Solstice por un impacto significativo en la ficción especulativa.
