Ganadores de los Locus Awards 2021

Los Locus Awards son un reconocimiento literario anual, auspiciado por la revista Locus y la Locus Science Fiction Foundation, y el pasado sábado, en el marco de un evento conocido como Locus Awards Weekend, se anunciaron los ganadores de la edición 2021 en una ceremonia virtual conducida por Connie Willis, en vez del tradicional banquete anual.

Establecido en 1971, por unos años se trató sólo de un reconocimiento simbólico basado en una encuesta entre los suscriptores de la revista. Su intención original era crear una lista de recomendaciones previa al anuncio de los nominados a los premios Hugo con la idea de llamar la atención de estos hacia ciertas obras.

Con el tiempo la votación se abrió al público en general, pero los votos de los suscriptores de la revista valen por dos. Otra diferencia con otros premios es que, además del trofeo de los ganadores, sus editoriales reciben un certificado que acredita la publicación de las obras ganadoras.
